This year we are proud to include a dedicated academic stream within the conference programme, as part of submitting a workshop to the conference there is the opportunity for you to submit your abstract to two high profile journals.
The academic sessions which have been submitted to the conference will contribute to a special EAUC Annual Conference edition of the IJSHE, 'Collaborations for Change: UN's Global Goals for Tomorrow's Education, Today'.
With thanks to the editorial group producing this special issue:
Dr Petra Molthan-Hill, Nottingham Trent University
Dr Zoe Robinson, Keele University
Dr James Longhurst, University of the West of England
Dr Simon Kemp, University of Southampton
We would encourage all academic workshops to submit an abstract to the journal, they will then be peer reviewed and if successful will feature in this issue. Details to follow as to how you can submit.
A little more about the journals
International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education
“The aim of the journal is to provide up-to-date information on new developments and trends on sustainability in a higher education context, and to catalyse networking and information exchange on sustainable development as a whole, and on the SDGs in particular, on a global basis.”

“Sustainability Science probes interactions between global, social, and human systems, the complex mechanisms that lead to degradation of these systems, and concomitant risks to human well-being. The journal provides a platform for building sustainability science as an evolving academic discipline which can point the way to a sustainable global society by facing challenges that existing disciplines have not addressed. These include endeavors to simultaneously understand phenomena and solve problems, uncertainty and application of the precautionary principle, the co-evolution of knowledge and recognition of problems, and trade-offs between global and local problem solving.
The journal promotes science-based predictions and impact assessments of global change, and seeks ways to ensure that these can be understood and accepted by society. Sustainability Science creates a transdisciplinary academic structure and discovery process that fuses the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities.”
